6th JULY 2021 – Lock-down still continues at an indefinite date. Or until the number of infection reduce to 4k. Current average cases of daily infections is at 6k.

13th JULY 2021 – Received my 1st Dos of vaccination. My 2nd Dos will be in completed before end of this month – July 2021. The Lock-down still continues. Current cases ranging from 8k to 9k. Most of this cases has been reported coming from manufacturing factories not following the SOP to curb the infection.

::NOTICE:: Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) starts May 12 to June 7, 2021

The number of infection rises to daily count of 3 to 4 thousands. Even though, clusters or community has been identified, new variant of covid virus has been detected. Vaccination might not be able to protect against the new variants. The citizen has been advised to stay at home to curb the virus spreading. Even though offices and business as usual, those that can work from home are encouraged to do so. The spreading of the infections is critical at this stage due to the coming festive of Ramadhan. All major roads and highways are placed with car by car checking by the police with accompany of military soldiers. Police also have placed inspections and summons to vehicles that tries to bend the rules by going thru trunk roads.

We at JEZ Consult, will not be conducting our on-site service during this period as the roadblocks and congestion is unbearable when the police are strict and conducting car by car inspection. The time consumed to travel exceeds the service rates. Therefore, we are now providing remote services especially to regular customers only. For new customers, we are still reachable via WhatsApp Business contact. However, on-site visit or client dropping off computers will not be accepted.

:: NOTICE: From Movement Control Order to Conditional Movement Control Order.

With the arrival of the vaccines, lockdown places are slowly opening up. And are now placed at Conditional Movement Control Order. District travelling is allowed. However, inter-state travel will still require approval from visiting the police station to get the allowed travel documents.

Stricter Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) are placed such as scanning of MySejahtera app when entering restaurants, shops, company offices / buildings. Fine will be imposed if caught not doing so. The summon in placed ranges from MYR 1,000.00 to MYR 10,000.00 per person, per offense.

:: NOTICE: Movement Control Order extend to 18th February 2021.

Looks like my business services is hitting at its worst time. However, I recently applied and got approval for travelling permits from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. This is to enable me to travel within the districts along the state so that I can travel to my customer’s office to do the servicing of computers. But still have to comply with the Standard Operating Procedures.

As of current news, most of the infected area involves factory sites, constructions sites and even now, some residential and offices. I will only travel to customers’ office premises to sort out their computer issues especially when remote access is not possible. This are problems that involves hardware failure, internet connectivity issue, PC operating system problems.

:: NOTICE: Movement Control Order for 2021 year starts from 13th January 2021 until 26th January 2021.

Currently the numbers of infected has rise from 1k plus to 2k plus. Mainly the infected cases arise from factories and construction sites. This is also due to the number rising on other states since November and December of last year, the restriction has been lifted for state border crossing. We hope to decrease the number of infection after the closure of borders as well as district crossing as well. My main concern of course is my customers’ needs of services. Since most of my customers are within the district crossing. Any attempt to go to their office can result a MYR1,000.00 fine by the government authorities. Have extend my continuing service via Remote Access so long as the problem arise is fixable via thru internet.

Let us do our part by staying at home, work from home and always stay safe, social distance within 1 meter apart.

:: NOTICE: Conditional Movement Control Order continues from 10th November 2020 until 6th December 2020.

The CMCO has been set to continue after the end of 14 days from 29th October till 9th November 2020. This was due to a sudden rise of infected cases after the Sabah election. Most of which, we believe to have come back from Sabah being infected and the count of infection increased mostly where we are at Kuala Lumpur and Selangor state. A further extension of 4 weeks now, immediately starts after 9th November 2020 until 6th December 2020. JEZ Consult has to resume business services or else suffer to close business dealings if this pandemic and movement control order continues. We just have to take precaution measures and follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). We will still limit our traveling services. Meaning, if we can solve the problems via remotely, then any fixes will be charged with a minimal fee. However, if the problem requires physical troubleshooting, then we will try to schedule a one day service trip but based on the area of red and orange zones. Please apologize for the inconveniences. We are trying to adjust to move around as government are trying to encourage people to work from home and there is currently some road blocks on the road and a big sum of summon/fine of RM1k if not careful. We understand that some things cannot basically be done from home. We are always aware of just hassle and problems. Especially with the rising of infected cases of the covid19 as well as the rises in the Internet world with ransomware and viruses. All types of devices and software are at risks. Not only Windows, but Linux and Android (on our mobile) as well.

:: NOTICE: Conditional Movement Control Order effective 22nd October 2020 until tentatively 28th October 2020.

Here is another COVID19 update.

As of today, 22nd October 2020, with immediate effect, CMCO or Conditional Movement Control Order has been implemented around my area Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang,  with some other states as well. Unfortunately, all my service areas are covered in the CMCO restriction zone. All travelling on-site services will be paused until CMCO has been lifted up.

:: NOTICE: Recovery Movement Control Order as of 1st September 2020 until 31st December 2020

Sorry for the late post. As of 1st September 2020, the Recovery Movement Control Order has been extended again until end of this year 31st December 2020. As to previous post, no changes to my services.

At this time, JEZ Consult can resume business such as onsite visit but again with conditions as well. The onsite place needs to have a temperature reading and the people in the office are required to wear facial mask. Social distancing is the new normal. So, please apologize if when we visit, we do not extend our hands to shake if you gestured so. Certain place also are still restricted depended on the Health Ministry chart zones. Currently any area that are placed as Extended Movement Control Order or EMCO and is deemed as Orange or Red zones, we do not provide onsite services. These restrictions is also on JEZ Consult not taking any Desktop or Laptop back to check for errors and repairs.

For those Desktops and Laptops that needs fixing, we will try to fix it on the spot as we currently still have the restrictions to bring back to office to check and repair. However, dependent on the complexity of the problem, we will consider to take back the unit for repair as well (For areas not under the Red zones). We will provide with the best solution possible and time taken to repair depending on the problem.

For customers’ which computers problems are non-related to connectivity of on-site network connection issues, are advised to send back to their respective Head office. This is because, we had previous issue of calling the engineer to onsite places which are still not mapped on Google Maps (especially construction sites still under development) with a permanent address location. Additional charges will be added if needed us to deliver their computers back to their head office.

Also, currently not doing services to customer’s at home or at their house. As there are no temperature checking and MySejahtera scan to houses. So, its better not venture to uncharted territories.

UPDATE! Starting 9th October 2020, one district in Selangor has been placed under Conditional Movement Control Order. The area is Klang. I have a regular supplier for laptop and notebook repairs. So, for the mean time, no laptop repairs (major problems that involves motherboard, fan parts and laptop components) are possible. But for minor repairs such as hard disk, RAM, are still possible.
